I'm all about helping a fellow artist out and I loved the idea of using a card to spark my creativity!
The cards are beautiful and there is some wonderful artwork on them as well! The idea sparks on the back are well written and definitely sparked my imagination.

The card I decided to try reads as follows:
Make a 3 inch cardboard square. Cut off each corner, varying the type of cuts you use. Now use your cardboard square as a stencil, place it randomly throughout your page. Next, fill your space with color. What do you see?
You can see all the steps and exactly what I did on my You Tube channel here:

I decided to work in my Delusions Journal. I started with a piece of sturdy cardboard, 3 inch square and then cut off the corners to make an interesting shape. The next step I used a pencil and outlined the shape randomly all over my page.
After outlining with a pencil I decided to use my Pitt Pens and outline over the pencil marks. Although I had quite a lot of my pens out, I decided at this point to stick with a color scheme and used, Pink, Green, Teal and Yellow.

Now that I had some color down, I said to myself, oh, draw in some lines with the Pitt pen, however.... I did not like the thick Pitt pen lines so one bad decision after another, and LOL
I wound up with.... and I didn't like this either, SO...

I colored in the shape as you can see below.... I did not let it discourage me, after all I was playing and experimenting so I kept going. For the time being I decided to ignore the big green shape on my page!

That's when I picked up my Gelly Roll pens, Oh how I love my Gelly Rolls and life suddenly became satisfying and before long I was immersed in doodling and tangling.

I filled in the shapes with random lines and just had fun!

Then I pulled out my Tombow Watercolor markers because I needed to fill in some of the shapes with color to make up for the GREEN one smack in the middle! (and you all KNOW, I LOVE GREEN)

Well, here's my finished Doodle below. I also went around the edges of some of the squares with black hoping to achieve a little better balance. After all the experimenting, I am happy with the outcome. I was thinking I could copy the page and cut out the shapes for collage?
All in all I did enjoy the process and it all started with that 3 inch square!
